EQ-Biotin is a liquid vitamin product with no added sugar or colorants. The B vitamin biotin plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and amino acids. Biotin improves the quality of hooves, skin and coat by contributing to the formation of keratin. Biotin supplementation may be necessary for horses with hoof problems, when using feed of uneven quality, or for horses undergoing intensive training. As biotin is not stored in the body, daily intake is recommended.
